I heard this one a while back ... but please be safe! Apparently the diameter of your neck is the same as your waistline. So if you are in a changing room and in a rush, you can determine your size by placing the waistline of the jeans around the diameter of your neck. If it comfortably meets the back of your neck, then the jeans will fit.
